Kim Kardashian Sues For Divorce

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Reality TV star Kim Kardashian filed for divorce on Monday, only 72 days after marrying basketball player Kris Humphries luxury wedding that was advertised as "Fairytale".

Kardashian, 31, star of the show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" has filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court citing irreconcilable differences.

"After careful consideration, I decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands that this was not an easy decision. I had hoped that marriage was forever, but sometimes things do not work as expected. We are still friends and want each other the best, "Kardashian said in a statement.

The court documents Kardashian asked the court to confirm that the jewels and other personal items, and earnings before and during marriage is considered separate property. It also notes that the couple has a prenuptial agreement.

Steve Martin Turns Tweets To Book

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The veteran actor and comedian Steve Martin is writing a book based on his Twitter posts, with all profits going to charity, book publishers said on Friday.

Martin announced in a book by Tweet on Twitter that said: "As the demand for anything, when I published a book in my tweets. Many of your answers, even included! All my earnings to charity."

The book is called "Ten, Make that nine methods, is a well-organized people. Make sure that the ten", and there will be a collection of tweets and followers of Martin replies, publisher of Grand Central Publishing, said in a statement.

The book will be published in the summer of 2012, and all profits go to charity.

The 66-year-old "Pink Panther" actor has adopted social networking site, building a fan base of over 1.7 million followers.

Sir Jimmy, one of the most famous names in British television and radio in the 1960s, 70 and 80, died Saturday.

Madoff Son That Dad Was The Text Of The Suicide Note

NEW YORK (AP) - A son of disgraced Wall Street financier Bernard Madoff urged the authorities in panic after receiving a text message he thought was a suicide note from his father months after his arrest in December 2008 fraud scam, a new book says.

The forthcoming book, "Truth and Consequence," tells how Andrew Madoff and his brother, Mark Madoff, received a message on their mobile phone in March 2009. Bernard Madoff told his son that he loved them and take care of their mother. The book said it was the first post Andrew Madoff had his father after his arrest.

Andrew Madoff called police, who checked on his father and found no cause for concern.

The book also has a wife and mother of Ruth Madoff when he said that he and Bernard Madoff tried to kill himself days after his arrest.

"Truth and consequences", written by Laurie Sandell, will be published by Little, Brown and Co. October 31. The Associated Press purchased a copy Thursday.
